Conclusion

To respect Mexican culture it is customary to greet everyone you meet either by a handshake or kiss on the cheek. It is okay to be late to almost everything, almost expected, being 30 minutes to 2 hours late is completely normal. Don’t use first names with people you are not friends with. It’s normal to tip around 15% to 20% in all service based locations such as restaurants, housekeepers, and supermarkets. Make sure to pack some comfortable walking shoes or rent a bike for your trip. Thank you for reading, check out our Facebook and Pinterest pages for weekly blog updates!
