The beautiful sights, amazing food, and cheap accommodation make all of these cities budget friendly. The only expensive part of the cities listed are the flights, but once you land rest assured the prices are very affordable. As a pro tip, pack light so you can buy new clothing when traveling in the city of your choice.
Bali, Indonesia
Bali is my number one choice for their amazing food, welcoming atmosphere to tourists, workspaces with great internet, and cheap transportation. Not to mention the beautiful sights and fun activities you can do within the city.
Prague, Czech
Prague is my second choice for being a historic city. If you are one that enjoys to learn about the history of new cities and to feel like you’re walking through the past, Prague is for you. To save money in the city, avoid the tourist hotels, nightclubs, and stores. Talk to the locals to find the best restaurants for the lowest prices.
San Juan, Puerto Rico
San Juan is my third choice for being slightly more expensive. There are plenty of resorts in the beachfront city, however if you venture out you will be able to save more money. Along with their amazing food, the city is also near a rainforest where you can go hiking or ziplining.
Durres, Albania
Durres was saved for last as an underrated city to visit. Beat the crowd in the beaches by going as early as possible. The city is best to take long walks to enjoy the beautiful sights, and get a bite to eat in their many Mediterranean restaurants.
To save up for your trip, I would recommend to save anywhere from 50% to 80% of your paycheck for about 1 to 2 months, the longer the better. This would mean, to do your best to keep your expenses to a minimum. It’s not easy, but it will help you to travel a lot faster than saving small amounts over time to then actually travel one or two years later.

Traveling for cheap during college is not impossible but does require a lot of determination, maybe some stubbornness as well.
